Csilla Kozma is a Hungarian-born photographer based in Glasgow, and is a member of the Forgotten Collective. She has enjoyed much recognition through various exhibitions across the UK, including 'Futureproof' at Street Level Photoworks in 2013.
On her style and works:
"I use the unique and delicate Mordançage process as a tool to create my own expressive statement. While the chemicals lift the emulsion from the silver gelatin print during the process, it creates a one of a kind image that evokes a feeling of unease and mystery at once. By focusing on both the visual and compositional balance my work is dealing with the themes of decay, mortality through aesthetic beauty".
