About
Using paints, inks and various other media Fine Artist Darragh Powell creates images in which the audience find themselves immersed in a place where nature seems to have the upper hand whilst man is often visible only by the imprint he has left behind. He is interested in man's relationship with the often paradoxically powerful yet fragile natural world and the almost surreal beauty that can be found in the most unlikely of places.
Inspired by music, cinema and literature and often incorporates references to these whether in his images or in the titles he gives to a piece of work.
