About the Series 'Memories of Lost Time'
A series of meticulously staged images inspired by the romantic notions of childhood memories and the almost dreamlike nature they possess, these images take you on an enthralling photographic expedition. The stories are based on seven individuals’ childhood memories and recollections. The images are dramatic, romantic and surreal – illustrating a very dream-like and imaginative interpretation of these distant memories, a very blurred line between fact and fiction, which is perhaps how the memory works. They are not only a reflection of what was, but also of what could have been. The series has been published widely including features in Vogue Italia (print & online) and it has been exhibited at the Corso Como Gallery (Milan) as part of the "Best of Photo Vogue" exhibition.
Vikram’s photos have graced prominent fashion publications around the world including Vogue Italia, Vogue India and Harpaer’s Bazaar. His ‘Ofelea’ series has been critically acclaimed and has featured in numerous exhibitions and art fairs. He now lives and works as a commercial and art photographer in England.
