About the Artist

Carl Moore is a London-based artist who paints, draws and makes short films. Using humor and absurdity with playful intent, his most renowned work is a series of digitally produced prints and paintings on the theme of ‘Animals Pretending to be Other Animals’ that looks at the semantics of identity. His art goal?

To create art prints that appear unsettlingly odd, playful, tragic and endearing. To create them, he uses a variety of different sources, inspirations and a multitude of art methods. His work has featured in several publications including; Art of England and Artists and Illustrators. His work has also been selected on a number of occasions, for the promotion of the Affordable Art Fair.
