Fine art limited edition giclee print. Design and photography: StormStudios
“This image for the EP Latitude and 023 I find very compelling. It derives mostly from Dan but the idea started with my son Bill who, having visited a giant redwood forest, Muir Woods in San Francisco, suggested that trees grow very slowly and people move very fast which is why we can see no change in the trees. Instead of slow earth, Dan imagined slow people, held back by sticky stuff, which made it difficult for them to keep going. I don’t know what the sticky stuff is, but I don’t think it matters, it’s a metaphor, which I hope Slow Earth, who are from Ukraine, enjoy.” Storm Thorgerson
