Exquisitely detailed blue and white ceramic sugar pot featuring cyanotypes from Rosie Emerson’s recent solo exhibition ‘Sirens’.
This powerful collaboration offers stunning imagery from Rosie and finely hand rolled earthenware clay imprinted with vintage French tassels from Vanessa. Delicately drawn together with gold lustre these surprisingly hardwearing pieces are an opulent addition to the style led home.
Each piece is handcrafted in- house by a small team of skilled assistants therefore it can take up to six weeks to deliver your order.
Although this piece is dishwasher proof we advise hand washing to prevent fading of gold lustre.
This is a Limited Edition Sugar Bowl of 50.
About Vanessa Conyers
Vanessa Conyers is known for her luxurious ceramic collections that merge deftly constructed earthenware clay with graphic textile prints, traditional enamel decals and shimmering metallic lustre. She exhibits in galleries across the UK and further afield and is the proprietor of the Pottery Parlour in Dorset.
Vanessa and Rosie met in 2005 after graduating from art school. They discovered a shared interest in depictions of femininity and the divine within their respective work, through the exploration of materials, texture, process, and image. They set up a studio where they worked and exhibited together for a time, and have remained friends and admirers of each other’s creative output ever since.
Having collaborated on one off pieces in recent years they are delighted to present their first limited edition collection that draws inspiration from Rosie’s recent solo show ‘Sirens’ and Vanessa’s SS16 ‘Liberty Blue’ collection.
