Luke Elwes has worked with the Curwen Press over the last decade, producing small scale lithographic prints which reflect some of the recurring themes in his paintings.
About Luke Elwes
Luke Elwes lives and works in London. Before studying at Bristol University and Camberwell College of Art, Elwes spent his childhood years in Iran, a fact which influences his work to this day. Travel and exploration is an important theme in Elwes’ work as evidenced by substantial periods spend travelling through Australia, India and North Africa.
Elwes has exhibited at numerous British and international locations including the Royal Academy, London, Grand Palais, Paris, The Barbican, London, Kettles Yard, Cambridge and Galleria Ceribelli, Milan. Elwes writes extensively on the subject of art for publications including Modern Painters, The Royal Academy Magazine and AbstractCritical.com.
