High definition silkscreen print release by British Artist Damon Roberts -x- Glass Siren Studio.
The original artwork was generated from a sound signal from a vintage 'Synare Drum Machine" which was then visualised through a custom software application.
The separate raw image layers which make up the composition was then transferred to acetate and sharpened by hand using an etching technique directly onto its surface.
The final print has been produced on a custom built silkscreen press in three separate acrylic colours, comprising of charcoal, light grey and an opacity reduced metalic silver which all react differently when direct light hits the linear aspects of the image. The production was varied in this release with the final layer of white acrylic being applied using random narrow width squeeges with some areas applied several times allowing the image distort and build up the ink definition, thus each one has completely unique visual characteristics.
