About the Photographer
Ian Derry is a London-based celebrity portrait, menswear and sports photographer. Derry started out on his local paper in Portsmouth, moving on to working for national newspapers including The Sun, The Times and The Daily Mirror. Specialising in reportage, Derry covered news and sports until moving on to the studio environment. It is at this point that he started focusing on fashion and celebrity portraits where he has carved out a unique niche photographing some exceptional assignments and iconic people. Derry’s style is that of a captured moment and he should be counted amongst the foremost photographic portraitists working today.
