Gagnef Band & Silver Collar Necklace
Made in collaboration with Sami artisans who inhabit the Arctic circle and their intricate band weaving patterns (known as gagnef) and stitching techniques for their traditional folk costume.
This stunning piece is made with traditional Sami colours and materials from fine soft wool and hand woven into a unique Sami pattern. It has 2 red pom poms at the bottom and 6 double-sided coins hanging from Red Coral beads. The whole piece is suspended on an elegant silver collar necklace.
Handmade in our London studio from 100% recycled silver, the coins are then oxydised to bring out the detailing.
Necklace comes beautifully packaged in a recycled No 13 box.
Silver collar necklace measures approx 16" in circumference, and 0.6cm at widest points. Gagneft band hangs approx 8.5" from collar to pom poms.

About No 13
No 13 is a new jewellery brand that brings you a touch of ethical luxury.
We are inspired by nature and indigenous artisans who live in some of the remotest and endangered places on the planet. We wanted to work alongside them to bring you the most original and contemporary designs.
Our first collection is inspired and handmade in collaboration with Sami Artisans who inhabit the Arctic Circle. Our aim was to create a modern twist on ancient Sami styles, and in doing so make something luxurious, beautiful and sustainably-sourced.
