This portrait of Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark) was taken by Jonathan Birch for a photo series on television talents in 2016. The series was published as a photo essay in the official brochure given to guests attending the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards in 2016.
The photo series was also published in the Observer in May 2016.
It is now part of a new exhibition, The Director’s Cut: BAFTA Photography 2006–2016, curated by BAFTA Photography Director Janette Dalley. The exhibition shows a selection of Janette’s favourite images commissioned by BAFTA in her time as director.
