Artists for Azuero 2012 Plates Edition
Exhibit great ecological art on your dining table.
Supporting the work of the Azuero Earth Project, six internationally acclaimed artists were invited to contribute an image to be reproduced on a useable, functional dinner plate. The set of six plates features images inspired by the natural world, celebrating the vast diversity of life on the planet.
Some of the proceeds from this edition will benefit AEP. The mission of the Azuero Earth Project is to preserve the earth's ecosystems, protect biodiversity, and promote healthy communities by helping people to make informed decisions, take sustainable actions, and share knowledge.
Artists featured: Teresita Fernandez, April Gornik, Mary Heilmann, Maya Lin, Richard Prince, Ed Ruscha.
Limited Edition of 500. All plates are handmade in dishwasher-safe bone china by Lenox in the United States.
All the artists featured are of international standing, with work exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Guggenheim Museum and the Hayward Gallery in London among many others.
