Pocket Atlas - Sussex Bound
Pocket Atlas - Sussex Bound, John Dilnot 2015.
John thinks of his current collection of boxes as three dimensional prints. His own prints along with old maps are incorporated on all surfaces of the box and combined with cut out prints of birds and moths to create a unique piece with each box work.
The boxes are made of wood and covered throughout with hand printed papers and old maps. The glass fronts have an oak frame and there are 'D' rings on the reverse of the box for wall mounting.

Size: 23 x 18 x 7 cm
