Who are we?

We’re a core team of cultural entrepreneurs working alongside an incredible worldwide network of arts partners, collaborators, advisers and supporters.

We’re obsessed with discovering beautiful things to own and give, and creating a single website that brings it all together. We’re forever on the hunt for 'products with soul', new arts partners, and finding more ways to make life easier for shoppers.

We have big ideas for the space between culture and consumers, and love mixing the best of business with the very best of culture. We enjoy creating unique enterprises that directly fund new art and which support cultural organisations in doing what they do best.

In the beginning...

Peter Tullin and Simon Cronshaw started CultureLabel back in 2007 by writing a book on cultural entrepreneurship and commercial income generation for the arts. Putting their money where their mouths were, they then took a gamble by giving up their day jobs to create CultureLabel.com.

They now won’t keep quiet about it, and are both regular keynote speakers on the subject of cultural entrepreneurship, cultural retail and e-commerce, and commercial income generation for the arts. They also work directly with arts partners to identify new opportunities for generating income.
