Vanessa Mooncie

Vanessa is a contemporary crochet jewellery designer and silkscreen artist. Working in new and vintage threads, her crocheted pieces are a synthesis of modern approaches to design and style through sourcing and researching traditional handcraft techniques.

Vanessa's screen prints are inspired by vintage illustration and the glamorous pin-up paintings and photographs of the 1940's and 1950's. The subjects of her prints are influenced by traditional circus performers and the Commedia dell'Arte.
