Lucie EllenThe Lucie Ellen line was started in 2007 by Lucie Beeston, after leaving her graphic design degree with a need to do something with her hands. After 4 years slogging it out in markets in and around London, Lucie relocated to Suffolk where she works out of her shed/studio in her garden creating ‘lovely things to wear and use’. Recycled and reclaimed materials feature heavily in her work, be it wood hand cut into pendants, or broken vintage china made into brooches and coasters. She is influenced by the 1950s, birds, haberdashery, girls and everything in between. "Lucie Ellen's upcycled pieces are vibrant and playful, whilst being responsibly made and easy to wear." |
