London Design Festival

There's not a quarter of London that's untouched by the London Design Festival. Out west Earl's Court's cavernous Exhibition Centre is taken over by the more high-end stuff - fabulous new furniture, homewares and high-tech glitz.

Out east it gets more experimental - students and new designers turn the Truman Brewery into a Tomorrow's World of hip new ideas and products of the future. Back in town grand ol' Somerset House is the setting for parties, talks and a getting together of the brightest and best in the design world.
