Kelly’s screen prints begin as pen and ink drawings taking from the curiosities nature provides for inspiration. Using her imagination and obsession with detail the work forges the realistic with the fantastical and planned execution with spontaneous mark-making.

Her screen prints are often worked into by hand as part of a process that makes each one an individual part of a limited series fusing the practices of printing, painting and scribbling together.
