Glint

Glint is a range of distinctive beaded jewellery by Kate Wood.

Inspired by natural forms, from blossom and berries to rock formations and barnacle colonies, Kate’s jewellery explores growth through the accretion of individual elements. These take the form of semi-precious beads and pearls, which form clusters and creep across surfaces.

Each bead is attached to a hand-made silver pin and meticulously wrapped and ‘woven’ onto chains. Different finishes are achieved with oxidisation and gold-plating. The resulting pieces are delicate in scale, with a mysterious, antique quality and simple organic form.
