Benjamin Pollock’s Toyshop

Pollock’s Toyshop of Covent Garden is known for continuing the tradition of the toy theatre or Juvenile Drama as it was known in its Victorian heyday. Pollock’s specialises in theatrical, creative and educational toys.

Opened in the 1880s by namesake Benjamin Pollock in Hoxton in the East End, Pollock’s Toyshop is now owned by actor Peter Baldwin along with toy lover Louise Heard who strive to keep the Aladdin’s cave stocked with unique toys.

"If you love art, folly or the bright eyes of children, speed to Pollock's” - Robert Louis Stevenson
