Aardvarkonsea

Aardvark is the brainchild of Lesley and Pea, who devise and produce art-type products of real cultural capital. Their studio in Hastings Old Town is a creative beehive where they carve lino, collect woodtype and care for their vintage Vandercook press.

Past projects have included a tearoom and gallery, a pop-up shop, and a commission for the V&A Museum. They are currently busy subverting letterpress and writing more broadsides. Aardvark’s other interests include the Wonky Women’s Institute, campaigning for fairness and adopting lurchers.
