Introducing Anna James
Anna James is a London-based decorative artist aiming to breathe new life into classic pieces, restoring and reusing furniture which would otherwise be overlooked.
Anna comments that her work ‘crosses the boundaries of art and design’ and that she is driven by the excitement she feels when ‘surrounded by beautiful objects.’ Her aim is to communicate this sense to others so that they can experience the same enjoyment from her work.

Anna's visit to Via dell'Amore inspired her to design a modern version of a "hope chest". Traditionally a hope chest or dowry chest was given as a gift from father to daughter to collect items as an unmarried young women in anticipation of married life.
Anna formed a collection of renewed antique keys to represent the freedom of choice women have today. These keys have now been remodeled and are now available to wear as charm necklaces in Rose Gold, Yellow Gold and White.
