Delphine Lebourgeois
‘My piece "BIRTHDAY" is about being 20 years old. It’s a darker version of a previous work "The Forest", and it depicts a growing-up red riding hood dancing with wolves. Charged with a sense of imminent danger, yet bright and child-like, the image portrays the very essence of being 20.
Beyond narrative, I’ve also explored a theme I particularly enjoy: "broken patterns". The wolves are duplicates of themselves, cut and pasted and it is this repetition that creates the movement and triggers a sense of danger.’

Tilly is a Scottish lass in her '20's who lives with her husband and 2 cats - Eyebrow & Artichoke - in an apartment full of books, antiques and curiosities.
