    'It was a tough call to choose my guest edit for CultureLabel as we have 14 Scottish galleries offering over 900 artworks on Culture Label.  However here goes.  

    My choice is eclectic and I feel reflects the broad range of work on offer from Scottish galleries. It ranges from the famous, 'Woman with Fish' by the redoubtable John Bellany and 'Untitled' by Bruce Maclean, a colourful work that's enough to brighten up the gloomiest winter day, to younger emerging artists from The Skinny's collection'.

    'I particularly like Ross Fraser Maclean's 'Caro' photograph of a 57 Chevy.  The pinnacle of 50s style. Rachel Maclean is well worth checking out too! 

    Elizabeth My Dear' from Glasgow Printmakers is one which I have always hankered after. And lastly from those cheeky chappies at Brazen Jewellery (a veritable cornucopia of delights) their 'Mischevous Mouse' necklace.  Not for me you'll understand but a lovely piece to delight on Christmas morning.'
