Photomontage
Photomontage is the process and the result of making a composite photograph by cutting and joining two or more photographs yo create a final piece. Sometimes the resulting composite image is photographed so that a final image may appear as a seamless photographic print.
Street Photography
Street photography shows a pure vision of something, like holding up a mirror to society, distanced from its subject matter, and often concentrates on a single human or poignant momen or provide a very literal and extremely personal rendering of the subject matter.

Ofelea and the Flying Balloons is part of a series of photographs titled Ofelea. This project stems from my childhood storybooks, specially the dark ones that gave me an unsettled feeling.
Taking that as my departure point, I studied similar themes in the surrealist art and most crucially Freud’s study on the very ambiguous feeling of the ‘uncanny’.
It is this ambiguity that runs through the series. I don’t know where the balloons are taking her or whether she’s dead or alive, my aim is to recreate that subtly uneasy feeling which engages and grips the mind of the viewer.
