Gina Cross who started A Little Of Bit of Art has over 10 years experience as an art buyer and commissioner of art & illustration at The Guardian newspaper.

Gina now works closely with artists, designers and illustrators, representing and selling their work at shows and via commissions and putting together collections of contemporary prints, illustration, photography & ceramics for sale and commissions.

'There are a mountain of text based prints out there at the moment but a lot of them are executed with no regard for the true art of Typography and are printed on cheap paper with very little skill involved. This does it for me as it's well designed, beautifully printed and quite sexy'.

'I love the pure madness of this piece by Tom Berry. I love to see skill and talent combined with humour and a surreal edge. There's not enough of it around!'

'This is my favourite print by Delphine and it is on my living room wall. Her work is highly skilled, imaginative, amusing and pretty sensual at times. This piece leaves me wondering always, but I'm never quite sure about what'.

A Little Bit of Art's Top Tips for Collecting

- Buy what you love - you have to feel a connection to it. It will be a personal investment that you won't regret if you choose wisely.

- I would always advise spending a bit more money on a low edition number and high quality printing. A true Art print should be reassuringly more expensive as it means there has been a lot of work gone in to it, it will be on good paper and won't be a mass produced piece of work and it should stand the test of time.

- Spend money on good framing, particularly with prints.
