Chris Mitton left a career as a mac designer to become a sculptural assistant, and since 1999 has worked independently, carving Carrara marble at his West Sussex studio. In his 'Revalue' series, Mitton takes the most unlikely of throwaway items – crisp packets, bricks, cans – and meticulously recreates them as marble monuments to the mundane.
