Inspired by the work of Australian illustrator Shaun Tan, the ‘Diving Bull’ became one of Mr Mead’s favourite characters, so much so that he based an entire suit, (the horned beasts) around him in his deck of playing cards, ‘Dark Suits’. Mead describes him fondly as a ‘big, stupid, bull who lives in the mountains and sings opera.’
