What happens when I order a product?

CultureLabel.com does not directly sell any products. Our role is to make it easy for you to search across them all in one convenient location.

Therefore, when you click 'go to store' or 'buy at', we seamlessly transfer you to the institution’s website, where you purchase directly from them. We act as the shop window – the institution itself remains the cashier.

Do I pay extra when I buy from CultureLabel?

No. The price you pay is the same as the price on their site. We sustain ourselves through a very small commission on each product sold. This is way-below market rate, as a result of our other income through advertising etc, meaning that the majority of your money goes straight to supporting the culture institution.

What if I want to buy from multiple arts partners?

Since each institution currently handles their own payments and delivery, you’ll need to enter your details on each partner's site that you want to buy from.

We're currently working very closely with all of our culture partners to explore how we can make this easier in the near future, but it involves a lot of synchronisation between lots of very different websites. Please watch this space for news as these conversations progress.
