GERALD THE DOG

Football teams have a mascot, so why shouldn’t we? Check out Gerald the Dog, from Manchester company Lazerian, who is a three dimensional, DIY dog who has already visited a numder of National Exhibitions and is now set to make waves in the UK art scene. Thanks to the popularity of the dogs so far, Lazerian have invited a selection of artists and illustrators to do a design on him. Next stop – a Gerald exhibition of all the illustrated dogs which will tour galleries and venues around the world. The illustrated Geralds will be produced in limited numbers and be available to buy from selected outlets, like CultureLabel.com.

To celebrate the tour, Lazerian are giving away a DIY Gerald every Friday, commencing 2nd July to September 2010. Check back here for more info.
