The V&A might be (one of) the last places most (normal) people would associate with sex however the museum’s recent collaboration with Liberty could change all that. One thing the saucily curated collaboration has managed to do, since its unveiling last Friday, is elevate the medium of textiles to risqe new heights. Could the new Liberty / V&A window display be a bid to reposition quilts as the thinking woman’s come-hither bed livery? Is quilting the new patchwork? We hope so, we love a good quilt.
