If you’re looking for something to do over the Easter weekend then head down to the ever-on-the-pulse Idea Generation Gallery for another of their popcultural extravaganzas. Having previously shown cute hand-drawn creatures (Monster’s Ink) and auctioned the entire contents of a jilted lover’s home (John ‘Hoppy’ Hopkins), this time the gallery is presenting a unique exhibition uncovering the career of Storm Thorgerson – the prolific producer of some of the most recognisable imagery of the modern world. Responsible for what has been dubbed as one the greatest album covers of all time – Pink Floyd’s 1973 The Dark Side of the Moon – Storm’s other collaborations with Genesis, Led Zeppelin and Muse litter bedrooms across the globe (and therefore deserve their place in history).
Idea Generation Gallery 2nd April – 2nd May.
