Cultural Christmas shopping doesn’t exactly sound like a roll in the hay, but take heed. Culturelabel.com is an emporium of quirky desirables culled from the shops of art institutions – Tate Modern, Whitechapel Gallery, the V&A, and East End galleries. Co-founded by the handsome and exotically monickered Florian Wupperfeld, Peter Tullin and Simon Cronshaw, the site doesn’t just contain art. There are stocking fillers aplenty – a Sam Taylor-Wood tote, a pillowcase embroidered with the words “Je t’aime” by Louise Bourgeois, a beautiful ring in the shape of a pudding – as well as serious art such as prints by Franz West and Damien Hirst. Take note of the very useful Gifts For The Boyfriend section. Since most of us Voguettes haven’t yet solved this impossible problem (and are reaching desperation point), any help is gratefully received.
