1. Tell us something about your look.
Vintage meets Italian classic chic with a modern twist.
2. And what about the shop?
Eclectic, a mix of vintage, designer and new talent. Something to suit every mood and desire a lady with impeccible taste might have.
3. How do you decide which products make it into the store?
There are a few questions I ask myself when buying: what body shape will it suit, do the colours suit, what will it go with, over 10 years of being a stylist is the biggest influence in what and which designers I buy. Something a bit different and beautiful and not available everywhere. The mix of many things that are well thought out but often unexpected. If we are the only stockist as with many of our designers we are able to offer something different which is great.
4. Does art and design influence the products your store?
Yes many of the items and conceptual designers are very art based. For me it even more of an appeal if the clothing, accessories and interiors are more than just beautiful if they have a fuction, a story or a history there is more added value and emotion attached. That is why the vintage is always very feel good as it has such a story. We have the art exhibitions in store and I love the bringing together of art, interiors and fashion.
5. Who shops at your store?
18-80 years I love that we have a girl in her 20′s looking at the same beautiful vintage dress as a woman in her 60′s. I have been really pleased that as with my styling style over the years the mix is timeless and often just many items that a lady would just lust over. Due to the merchandising of the boutique and the visual element we have many people men and women that come in to imerse themselves in the atmosphere, a little like a museum where everything is for sale.
