First Art Game For the iPhone

Its about time the phenomenon that is iphone gaming extended into the realms of the art world so we at CultureLabel are delighted to discover that the first art game for iPhone/iPod Touch in Europe has finally been delivered and is currently available for free download at the AppStore. The oil painting which inspired this game is The Persistence of Memory, known as “The Soft Watches”, by Salvador Dalí. It belongs to the MoMA collection and was on temporary loan at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres from January to March 2009. But how do you play I hear you ask? The soft watches have disappeared from the painting and are hidden in other Dalí works. Players need to find them by exploring enlarged pictures of those other art pieces.
