Rod Clark studied at Bath Academy of Art and the Royal College and has been a designer/maker for 25 years. Recent printmaking and painting is concerned with cultural knowledge and our relationship with both the natural world and the digital realm.

Rod’s work is informed by ideas of one thing obscuring or revealing another, the loose-parts theory, concepts of self-organisation, information theory and the view that collage represents a most resonant if not literally realistic response to the complex world we inhabit.

"A colourful noise in the middle of your wallpaper, visual joy, cute and thoughtful, just some of the comments on Rod’s recent work"
