Product Description

About the Designers,

The New English is more than just a ceramics company. It creates beautiful objects that will bring a smile to your face and take you by surprise.

Their Englishness is a unique approach to product design, an irreverence, a sense of humour and an anarchic impulse to provoke and challenge. The New English bring together the finest skill and craftsmanship the industry has to offer with the brightest design talent of emerging artists to create exciting new pieces.

About the campaign,

The death penalty is the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment. It is irrevocable and can be inflicted on the innocent. It has never been shown to deter crime more effectively than other punishments.

When Amnesty International was created in 1961, only nine countries had abolished the death penalty for all crimes, and capital punishment was hardly considered a human rights issue. Closer and closer to a death penalty-free world - working towards abolition of the death penalty in six countries: Belarus, China, Iran, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, United States of America

These countries are all at different points on the long journey to abolition; some remain far from considering an end to the use of this cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment.
