About CultureLabel

CultureLabel.com brings together a hand-curated edit of the most stylish products and affordable art from hundreds of galleries, artists, independent stores and museums from around the world.

Our founding partners comprise iconic UK arts brands including Tate, V&A, Saatchi Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery and many more.

Back in 2007, we were young entrepreneurs with a simple but big idea: to create a great site where art, product, design, heritage, fashion, culture – and a whole lot more – collide. We wanted to create an online store that offers affordable style, and where money spent on shopping made a positive difference to the arts organisations you bought from.

Think of us as your creative department store; we curate the very best product from our arts partners’ shops and designers’ collections, then bring them together for you to browse and buy.

The price you pay with us is the same as if you go direct to our partners’ individual sites – the only difference is the ability to buy from all 200 in one basket.

Every single sale on CultureLabel.com helps to support some of the greatest arts and heritage organisations, of all sizes, in all kinds of places, directly funding a brilliant range of innovative work.

It’s still relatively early days for us, which means we’re growing steadily and learning fast. Our mantra is simple:

1. Hand-curated for you

Every day we scour hundreds of the most innovative and creative designers, artists and art partners from around the world, to bring you a hand-picked selection of quirky treasures and inspiring works of art. Only if we’d buy it ourselves or for our friends will we recommend it on CultureLabel.com.

2. "Products with soul"

Every product on CultureLabel.com has a unique story, a journey of its own and a real connection to its maker. A mix of integrity, authenticity and design quality... we like to call them ‘Products with soul’.

3. Something to talk about

Products must pass our ‘mantelpiece test’ before they’re added to the site: is it a conversation starter? Does it possess integrity and style? Does it bring a new perspective to life? Where could you get taken by the conversation it creates?

4. Affordable style

We don't believe that style has to equal expense. Our mission is to find stylish products and quality art that is completely affordable. Many of our items are under £30, whilst the quality of the more expensive ones makes them worth the extra effort.

We hope you’ll enjoy your experience of CultureLabel.com, and if you like what we do, please keep spreading the word!
