Step inside Museum of London for an unforgettable journey through the capital's turbulent past. The Museum is currently undergoing a major redevelopment, transforming the way it tells London's story from 1666 to the present day. The new Galleries of Modern London will open in spring 2010 but until then visitors can still enjoy our prehistoric, Roman and medieval London galleries, as well as events and exhibitions for all ages including London's Burning, a special display which explores the Great Fire of London.
A huge shop is perhaps the best place in the world to find books on London (and there's a great range of kids' books too). There's also an extraordinary range of prints on offer with rare shots of multicultural London and elegant architectural drawings among the highlights.
